Abstract

The article begins with a report on how the journal »Theologie für die Praxis« (»Theology for Practice«) was initiated. The aim was to inform pastors about trends in scholarly theology and research results by means of selected literature reviews. The main focus were publications that could be useful for practice, but also the presentation of new research directions. Initially the journal only included reviews, but since 1988 essays and lectures on current topics were also published, mostly written by the lecturers of the Theological School. In more recent times, the journal was often published as a yearbook with a predominant theme.
