An Gottes Erneuerung teilhaben
Teilhabe als Wurzel methodistischer Theologie und ihre Bedeutung für die Klimakrise
Abstract
In this chapter, Michael Nausner argues for a positive relevance of a Wesleyan theology of participation in times of climate crisis. If the image of God (imago Dei) is understood in relational terms, humans’ task in a wounded creation is not so much to be stewards but to live a life of mutuality, a life of co-creation together with God and co-creatures. In conversation with theologians such as Theodore Runyon, Jürgen Moltmann, Catherine Keller, Leonardo Boff, Elizabeth Johnson and others, the author sketches a creation theology of communication in which humans together with other creatures participate in the renewal of creation.
